Khorrambahar (Ehteram Ol-Doleh I)

This picture was taken in 1310 hejri lunar/ 1893 A.D., three years before Nasser-ed-Din Shah's assassination. This picture is historic in that it depicts the five last surviving children of Fath Ali Shah, Nasser-ed-Din Shah's great-grand-father. These are Nasser-ed-Din Shah's grand-uncles and grand-aunts, but they are not that much older than he was at that time. Nasser-ed-din Shah was 62 years old in 1310/1893. The children of Fath Ali Shah depicted here are in their late sixties and early seventies. Prince Azod-ed-Dowleh (standing left) was born 1239 a.h. and is here 71 years old.
