Golshan Garden, or Afifabad Garden This garden was one of the achievements of the Qavam family of Shiraz. The first builder was Mirza'Ali Mohammad Khan Qavam in 1863, the second Qavamo'l-molk, who in 1284 A.H. (1867 A.D) began the construction, and bought the Limak stream, which rises in Qasr-e-Qomsheh, about 15 kilometers distant, for irrigating the garden, after which it reaches several districts of Shiraz. This garden is situated at a distance of about two kilometers to the west of Shiraz, south of the Qasro'd-dasht Avenue. With great taste, cypresses, plane trees, firs, pine trees, willows and junipers have been planted there, and a magnificent building, with a spacious tiled lower floor, and a stone dado with carved figures of soldiers in relief, and numerous halls and rooms and verandahs, has been erected there. It houses a beaufiful edifice following a combination of Achaemenian and Qajar architectures. It was used as the ex-king's residence whenever he travelled to Shiraz. The building has two floors with plaster work.The lower floor of the building is now military museum.

In southern entrance of Tang-e-Sa'di in Shiraz, and beneath Nodar castle, there is a large garden which is known as Delgosha. The garden is composed of a very large ground area located alongside the Boustan avenue which leads to the tomb of Sa'di. The walls of the garden is made of mud but the entrance portel is made of clay brick. From the entrance of the garden to the building which is located in the center of the garden there is a waterfont and a cement street. Four streets have been constructed round the building leding to the walls of the garden. On the sids of some of these streets there are cypress and pine trees. Orange, palm and walnut trees have been planted in other parts of the garden. There is a large pond right in front of the building. This building has been erected on a platform and the lower part of the walls is covered with plain stone. The building inside the garden comes in three stories and the portal is decorated with glaze tiling. The doors of some of the rooms are quite old. There is an octagonal structure on the first floor in the center of which is located a pond covered with blue tiles. The ceiling of the building is a simple dome in the middle of which there is a vent. There are four royal rooms with four angels on the sides of the octagonal structure Bagh e Delgosha lying to the northeast of the main avenue, the Garden of Heart's ease may date to the 11th century Seljuk period. It was restored by Karim Khan Zand, but came into the possession of a member of the Ghavam ol Molk family (now known as the Ghavam - Shirazi) in 1845, who used the bagh e Delgosha as a winter residence. A central water channel leads to a 19th century pavilion, flanked by orange trees, pomegranates, and date palms, bushes of double yellow jasmine, walnuts trees and weeping mulberries.

Eram garden is located in the center of Shiraz on the side of Eram street. This garden was made by a leader of the Qashqai tribe known as Mohammad Ali Khan Ilkhani during the early 18th century. About 75 years later, Nasirolmolk bought the garden and Haj Mohammad Hassan, the prominent architect built its three storey building. This monument is a masterpiece from the Qajar dynasty in so far as architecture, painting, carvinf, tiling and stuccowork are concerned. The lower sections of the building's exterior are formed of 2 - meter - high plain and carved stones and on the eight columns there is the exihibt of two Qajar soldiers ans six inscriptions. The inscriptions have been inscribed by Mirza Ali Naghi Khoshnevis in Nastaligh style of writing. In the portal of the building there are three large and two small sessions. The spring which flows in the waterfronts right in the middle of the building pours into ponds and grants Eram garden a great appeal. The cypress trees in this garden are quite famous.

Forough-ol-Molk complex stands in the historic Sang-e Siah axis dating back to 1210 A.D. The building consists of 4 main parts: Salemlik, Haremlik, kitchen and bathroom, and stable. Due to inappropriate usage, the property was exploited and left in ruins. Conservation works were carried out for over 3 years to transform this former residence into a painting and calligraphy gallery.

Narenjestan-e-Ghavam
Narenjestan-e-Ghavam
Narenjestan or Qavam Garden of Shiraz dates back to Qajar era and is located on the eastern side of the end of Lotfali Khan Zand Avenue. Due to abundance of sour orange trees it is called Narenjestan. Narenjestan building has been a place where ordinary people went for administrative purposes and public meetings as well as meetings among Qajar dignitaries and nobles were held there. Construction of the building started by Ali Mohammad Khan Qavam-ol-Molk in 1257-1267 AH and was completed by Mirza Mohammad Reza Khan, grandson of the first Qavam-ol-Molk and grandfather of Qavam in about 1300 AH. The building has been rehabilitated once by Ebrahim Qavam and has been decorated with mirrors, paintings, tilework, plaster work, and inlay. It is an architectural feat of Qajar period. The main entrance of the garden opens toward south along the main axis of the building and into an octagonal corridor. Its façade is decorated with bricks. There is a tablet of marble stone on top of the entrance on which Quranic verses have been written along with poems of Asudeh Shirazi about founder of the garden and date of its construction. On both sides of the lower part of the entrance you can see two Qajar soldiers holding their rifles. The entrance door is made of wood and has been inlaid. Ceiling of the octagonal corridor is decorated with bricks and tiles and is shaped like stars. Narenjestan building has been constructed by artisans of Shiraz over 3,500 square meters of land with total foundation area of 940 square meters in two northern and southern wings. The southern wing was special to servants and included two porticos with inlaid wooden columns and rooms decorated with beautiful plaster work. The northern wing has two stories and includes a portico with two stone columns flanked by inlaid doors and windows and including a wooden roof with mirror work along with paintings and is among architectural feats of Qajar era. Mirror hall is in the middle and surrounded by rooms on right and left in a symmetrical way. Floor of porticos are covered with white and blue tiles in a beautiful manner and attractive plaster work has covered walls of the porticos. The building stands two meters above the yard and is mainly made of bricks. Its ceiling is covered with beautiful paintings in warm colors and varied patterns. Outside the building you can see bas-reliefs of Achaemenid soldiers, lions, tombs, and pictures of fighting mythological creatures which have been inspired by carvings at Persepolis. A stone pool in addition to date and sour orange trees are facing the building. Ebrahim Khan Qavam-ol-Molk dedicated this beautiful building to University of Shiraz in 1966. It is now Narenjestan Museum which is affiliated to Faculty of Architecture of the same university.

This mosque is situated at the end of the Lotfali Khan-e-Zand Street. Nasir-ol-Molk is the founder of this mosque. This mosque is unique for its tile work and architecture. The construction work of mosque began in 1293 AH. and was finally terminated in 1305 AH., by Mohammad Hassan Me`mar and Mohammad Reza Kashi Paz Shirazi.
