April 29th, 2023: It is with profound sadness that I share with you the passing of my mother, Gohar Malek Ghavami, at the age of only 78. Today, on April 29th, 2023, she finally lost her battle with AML Leukemia which she fought for so long with grace and courage and never let on what she really was feeling and thinking inside. I will miss our daily calls, her jokes, her humor, her perspective on life and I will always remember her for her love and devotion to the family, her appreciation of nature and her support and generosity to those less fortunate, especially kids. Although her absence in our lives going forward will be difficult to bear, she will always be in our hearts and minds with fond memories.

October 21st 2020: With sadness I share with you the news of the untimely passing of Mojdeh Ghavami also known as Zari / Zahra. I will always remember her for her support during recent dark times I went through and her kind, selfless personality who everyone in the family loved.
October 12th, 2020; Today, with intense sadness I share with you the passing of Sam Ghavami, son of Nassir and Parisa Ghavami and brother to Yas and Nariman Ghavami, just shy of his 13th birthday. My deepest condolences to the family for this unfathomable family tragedy. I will always remember him for his smile, being easy to talk with and his gentle, kind, and respectful demeanor.
