Forough ol Molk House, Shiraz, Iran

Forough-ol-Molk complex stands in the historic Sang-e Siah axis dating back to 1210 A.D. The building consists of 4 main parts: Salemlik, Haremlik, kitchen and bathroom, and stable. Due to inappropriate usage, the property was exploited and left in ruins. Conservation works were carried out for over 3 years to transform this former residence into a painting and calligraphy gallery.
